I assume your having trouble commiting the acts right ?
When in combat you will notice a green to red ring around the hunter IF YOU PRESS LEFT TRIGGER other wise you are just in combat. While the hunters back is turned this ring will turn grey as you must have seen by now. WHILE THE RING IS GRAY you must hold down your attack button ( A or X ) And eventually the ring will turn from yellow(violent) then to red(grusome).
You will olso notice waiting around for this takes time you don't have seeing as there are about 5 hunters that come in packs throughout.
"DIVIDED THEY FALL" you have to seperate them by banging and waiting for the group to come back and forth looking for you, eventually leaving one behind. Or my strategy, going out in the open, RUNNING, and hiding once they have seen you. this usually makes them split up. you can even get one of them in a group by locking on, run after becasue this will attract attention... DUH
HINT: It takes roughly 3 Seconds for yellow, 6 for red.
"GIVING AWAY STUFF" HINT:
Later in the level you will have to perform these same attacks with a bat.

You have to perform certain kills. A grusome kill is when the target is red, a violent kill is when the target is yellow. When you perform each kind of kill you'll be allowed to progress to the next task. In case you don't know holding the attack button whilst sneeking up to a potential victim increases the conviction of the kill.
