It took me ages to defeat the basalisk all you half to do is keep throwing flipendio at it and advoid it.A good tip is to find lots of heeling potions because you can help your self from dieing! KEEP ON TRYING IT,IT WORKED FOR ME!

you press down on your swordand aim at the snakes mouth the sword will then fly out of your hand and hit the snake do this about 4 times
