u can pre-order either 1 at any game store if there is a sign for it. u just pick either a card that says either pokemon leafgreen or pokemon firered. give it to a cashier person and u need to pay $5.00 and on September 9th 2004 go back to that same store and u will only have to give back the card that said $5.00 and u will need to pay $30.00. when u do pre-order it u will get a pokemon pocket trainers guide that tells about the game. that is free. i already pre-ordered it and i cant even wait until the game comes out! i pre-ordered for the leafgreen version. i had gone 2 toys'r'us.

The only 2 differences between the two is that you can catch only certain Pok'emon in each game and that Deoxys looks a little different.
