How do you defeat the cloud guy at the end of world 4-3 in Gameboy's Super Mario Land?

to beat this leader and the game what you have to do is keep shooting him and dodging his bullets he shoots at you i dont know if it is him that you have to hit or his bullets but if you shoot them enough times it the bullets will blow up i dont know if the bullet blowing up is what kills him or not i just hope this helps some of you on your quest after you beat him you win the game so good luck to all of you

You have to shoot the cloud several times while avoiding the bullets. I've had success by circling around the screen and waiting for a safe time to shoot. Remember it takes allot of hits but eventually it will blow up. After that comes this machine that shoots 3 bullets at a time. It goes up and down on the right side of the screen...stay on the left side of the screen and concentrate on avoiding the bullets. Continually shoot while your doing this and eventually you will kill it. After that the game is over...Watch Mario finally save Daisey.

i don't have a clue i'm stuck there also. you shoot the cloud then this other thing comes and i can't beat it no matter what i do and i can't spin jump on him cause i'm in a airplane.
