Simboy123 is right. The gameshark is a hacking system for your console. It inserts bits of code into the game that cause the game to enable things that are not usually available. For instance, the Gameshark 2 (PS2) has a code for Gran Turismo 3 that allows the purchase of cars that are normally un-buyable, like the Mazda RX-8, and the Ford GT40 race car. These usually have a price of Cr. ----. but the gameshark makes them cost anywhere from 1 to 5 credits depending on the car. There is also a code that gives your "character" 1.000.000 Cr. , which is very helpful when upgrading those expensive cars. I have a Game Shark 2 (ps2) and it is very useful. There is also a cheat that boosts the hp of cars 1-20 in your garage by 2x, 5x, 10x, 20x, and ,yes, even 50x! You trying getting a Pagini Zonda C12 Race Car with over 17,000 hp any other way!
