Here's how it goes. The very first thing you need to do is utilize the "Talk" Commands for Tidus, Yuna, and Wakka. The "Talk" Command for Tidus will double his strength, and the "Talk" Command for Yuna and Wakka will double their magic defense.

The first obstacle you need to get around is the fact that the Guado guards use an auto-potion whenever you attack Seymour or them. This is the simplest obstacle to get around as well. The easiest thing to do is to have Rikku steal from the Guado guards and this will disable there auto-potion abilities. If Kimahri has Stone Breath then you can use this as well to stop the Guado guards. Once you have done one of these things you can kill the guards.

Now on to Seymour. Seymour uses Blizzara, Thundara, Watera, and Fira, and then repeats. The way to deal with this is to have Yuna use NulFrost, NulShock, NulTide, and NulBlaze at the right times. When Seymour gets down to 3,000 HP he'll call upon............ANIMA!!

At this point you need to have Yuna call upon her new Aeon which doesn't have a name yet but veteran Final Fantasy fans will recognize her immediately. Aeons are immund to Death so Pain will not kill it. Now use either Heavenly Strike or Attack to damage Anima until it has about 9,000 HP left. At this point your aeon should have an Overdrive so use it and finish off Anima.

Now you are back to fighting Seymour so you should continue using the "Nul" spells. Have Tidus and Auron attack and you'll finish Seymour off quickly.
