thats an easy one, back in the village there is a path at the top leading in2 the forest, go in2 it and follow it untill u cum 2 the ice cave, it automaticly opens for u with the funky horn thing u get, the part he marks on the map is the forest which u cud not enter b4.

Go to the mining camp, and then head north through the dark forest. Before, if you tried to go on the path leading to the Dark Forest, you wouldn't be able to, because it wasn't marked on your map.
