You beat the first part of the level. Then hit the block the P-switch is on. Hit the P-switch and run to the right and AVOID ALL OBSTACLES!! Run ULTRA-FAST to the last door by the 1-up, and go in before the timer runs out. Grab the P-switch and don't use it. Run over the blocks and go up through the floor. Once there hit the questionmark and make a staircase with the coins. Then activate the p-switch. Run up the stairs and duck-jump into the area up top. The key will be there. ~1-up~

There is no key in the Valley of Bowser's Ghost House. Go to the Chocolate Island 2 level and get the key there. it will take you to a portal to get to the levels at the bottom of the Valley of Bowser's screen. to get the key just don't collect any points in that level and it will take you to a seperate exit.
