In the Icy Peak level, how do you get below the ice??

To get below the ice you go where you meet the bear and he lets you use his gondalla. there us an opening to you left. go through the opening and jumped across. then there is a cave entrance when you look down you are above a crack in the ice. you have to hover then head butt the ice which will break and you can swim for you're gems.

Easy. Talk to thebear. The, at one of the three windows, u'll see some whirlwind. Go in it, then you'll land on a ledge. Then, go through the cave and glide/hover/stomp.

if youre coming from the start of the level after getting off, go right. if starting the level (for first time) go left. you should see a cannon. shoot the ice then glide from the cannon area to the swirly thing. you should be on a ledge. turn left and glide to the crack and smash it (glide, press triangle twice to hover and smash). alternatively, you can glide there when you reach there and glide smash it.
