On super mario brothers for nitendo entertainmentcenter there is a code that when you die you can stt from were you were at what is that code

When you get Game Over, wait until the 1 player/2 player screen comes up, Hold A then press start. You will begin the first level of whatever world you died in. For example if you got game over in 8-4 you will restart in 8-1.
