it is in the basement of tangint castle once you get some keys walk to where they guy is that sells keys there walk all the way over to the right but not to far or you will walk out walk srait down along the wall of the castle and you will come to a stair case and thats where you get it.

the way you get the sun stone is you got to the castleof tantegal and go to the place you can buy keys. then you go to the side of the castle and head south then theres stairs go down them. and then theres the sun stone with the old dude.
