when you get to the part in which the people give you the letter for gardinia follow her to the end even thow she doesn't want you to eventualy shell join you (shes a long arm)

you dont get a longarm in infection....i think if you do then its gardinia

When you go to the message board, you will read a post about some fans of a person named gardenia. Go to the keywords listed there, and head for the dungeon. You will see the fan club members there, and they will tell you to bring gardenia a letter. Go deeper into the dungeon until you encounter gardenia. She will tell you she does not want the letter, then run away. Follow her. After the second or third time, when you follow her she will be enganged in a battle, help her out and she will take the letter on one condition. You have to take her member address and call on her when you need her.

Gardinia, a character that you meet in the first game, is the only long arm that you have in the first game. If I get any longarm equipment I give it to her or use it for trades.
