mhm It took me alooong time to defeat it. I defeated it once, and then accidentally hit power on my gameboy x.x It wasn't saved, so it took me another kagillion tries to get it. But, I suggest going around hogwarts fighting things, and raising your stats. Takes awhile, but it will help you later on in the game. Fighting Lupin, dementors, etc. Try to get around 150 magic points. I defeated it at level 22, sp:244 mp:82 But, It took waay to long, and i spent to many sickles on potions. Just get Harry and hermionies stats high.

mystic had a good tip, but it is by all means unnecessary. personally i defeated it first try, just using incendio a lot and wiggenweld potions when necessary. hope this helps

get a ton of wiggenweld potion.and a ton of pepper-up potion.
