I have found this code several times, I have 141 "A" Ranks and 120 Emblems, I've tried the Metal Characters in 2P mode (this works) 50 TIMES IN A ROW, but the Team Metal Sonic code DOES NOT work. I don't know if there is anything else to get.

well first you must have beat the game with every team . then it will say "congratulations you can now use metal teams."
you can't get metal sonic team just one of the thousand rumours

Yes. How to get Team Metal Sonic,you must get all emblems & all Rank [A]. Once you do,you got to plat 2P.VS.mode 50 times while both teams are metal. You can become metal by holding A+X after selecting a stage. After that, you'll face Metal Sonic again with all caracters in their metal form. If you beat Metal Sonic,you'll unlock Team Metal Sonic. the characters of Team Metal Sonic are Metal Sonic,DR.Ivo [Eggman] Robotnik & Chaos.
