I cannot get past the point where you have to mark the dates in blue pencil. I've marked the dates in red pencil already. It's not letting me pick up the blue pencil. I've done everything the walk through has said to do and nothing has worked. Is there anything that I'm missing at the White Chapel area?

you must have all the dates of the real murders circled. then pick up the other pencil and circle the dates of the game murders. There will be a pause and then palmer will remark that this is no help. after a few seconds he should say the word holidays. circle the thanksgiving date and the game should progress from there with palmer figuring out that the next murder is thanksgiving night

There is a glitch of sorts in the game. Save your game before trying to circle the dates. If you haven't done so, you'll have to go back to a previously saved one. A drag, I know, cause I had to do that. Anyway, if you try again from the start you should be able to pick up the red pencil, circle the dates and then pick up the blue pencil. I don't know why it sometimes doesn't work, but the only solution is to go back out of it and come in fresh.
