do you have the shotgun already? If you do then equip the shotgun (cycle weapons by pressing the >> button) then press L1 you will see a bluish glow on his hands. Now you have the ALT shogun that has explosive ammo. AIM SHOOT THEN FIRE AT THE DOOR.
Hope this works for you. It did for me.

How 2 break the wall. It's simple, you have the crossbow, the upgrade is in the level, so if you see a mine car, press O. You'll get the upgrade, then go back to the wall. Use the upgrade, BOOM goes the wall!
