I have had this happen to me so many times, its very easy to fix, you basiclly go in a text file in the Windows 32 folder and put a bracket in!! serousilly thats the easy fix, sorry, ive forgotton what the file is called but u can search google with the info ive given u, its genuine, its happend to me. Or ofcourse u cud get a proper dos game emulator such as DOSBox.
