u know where the first gym is,
cross one of the lakes and u'll find one
but i advise u not to use rare candies because ur pokemons' stats will be low like the wild pokemons
they'll develop with higher stats if u train them purely with work and not eat special candies
protein, carbos, etc. would help, though
