we used a 25lb line and a jointed shadrap ..firetiger goodluck!! (largest lure you have available) we caugt a 53lb king salmon on that

Just do what the guide tells you and if the king salmon is 100 ft out set your drag to three and when it comes really quick toward your boat switch it to four and if the fish is right in front of you you can try but i wouldnt recommend switching the drag to five

I used a jointed minnow Rapala at its largest size which is like a j13 or something. becareful at hook set to allow the indicator to go into the red before setting hook. keep line tight at ALL times
