thats right...but they(the big ones)are not that hard to kill at all.
i recommend the shotgun for them(1 shot-1 kill)
but theres a trick to the flood spores(the small annoying things
...machinegun recommended)shoot one of them and the bastards dont just go POP...
they create a small explosion.
when close enough to eachother shoot one of them and the explosions should create a chain reaction and if there are some left just finish them off with the MG.

ALSO,yes,stay away from corners________________________keep to the middle of the room.

Your friend is right, one more thing. once the big guys come concentrate on them.
They little guys don't really take off that much of your shield. Keep moving, stay out
of corners. Just wait, it gets harder.
