How do you get the kain reaver without using cheats or codes? Is it possible?

after you kill melchahim you get the MORPH glyph, meaning that you can morph though gates, in the underworld, go back to the ruins morph though the gates, and meet KAIN, after you strike him 3 times, he was pull out the soul reaver in an attempt to kill you. but the soul reaver shatters over your head, and becomes a part of you.
