You must press square when you are on top of a Dragonball, but you should try it on any place in the dragonworld, you can find usefull stuff like zenies and some food that gives an extra turn each round.

make sure there is a character on top of tha ball. make sure the character is selected and has at least 1 move left. then press square. character will lose a turn, but will search the groend. also try this in any other step, even if it doesn't have a ball. sometimes you find other good capsules.
