you're stuck huh? well don't grovel over it! I'll help yah! to get the pegases boots (enables link to run faster) you have to beat the first dungeon and when you kick the ********!!! out of the boss thou shalt receiveth the Pendent of Courage!!!! and after you leave the dungeon go down the steps and look at your map.....you will need to go left and kill the rock thingies and you will come to a small building go inside and talk to the village elder and he will tell you some crudliness about the history blah blah and after he's done jabbering he will give you the boots! yea!!!!(press A to RUN!!!) (if you don't understand anything of what i'm saying go to kakariko village and go down to the very bottom of the village and to the left you will see a couple of chickens and some guy standing near two troughs of water, talk to the guy and after he signs your map look at it and yeah! you got it!!!)

you can't run any faster until you get the super boots. you can't get the super boots until you do the quest for the old man from the village, he's hiding in a small building in the desert area.

To run faster in The Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past get the Pegasus Boots from Sahasrahla. To do so you must finish the quest for the courage pendant. The dungeon for the courage pendant is in the far east of Hyrule. Talk to Sahasrahla after obtaining the courage pendant and you shall receive the Pegasus Boots. Press "A" to sprint with them.
