We were having the same problem... Why would the game not tell us how to play and pick up? That is soooooooooo stupid!!!! We have tried L&R plus A but that made the turtles dash- so we tried R and B and we were able to pick him up!!!! I hope this helps... I know I hate when games do not tell us how to play... Nina and Christopher

stand in front of the fugitoid and hold L + R and push the A button...you have to stand in front of him and do it otherwise you will flip him and he will lose life...good luck, yo
