press the X button so that you go to youre phone then go to inventory.From there press X again and then pick up the furniture and move it.( press R and L to rotate it )

i dont have a gamecube....but,You just put a peice of furniture.Than click on the furniture u dont want there and press the cancel button.

Once You put an item you cant change it. yous got to put another item then at the end of placing it there will be a huge blew arrow use the arrow and click on the item u wanna move hope ish work. ^_^
