How do I get to the secret tunnel at the end of the snow slide?

Near the secret area after the snow slide, looking across from the yellow box with a mushroom, is a secret tunnel. Trying to do wall jumps are way too difficult to get into it. Though is that the only way? Has anyone gotten in there? Thanks.
PS I know how to get to the ledge but there's a tunnel in the view from there, up above. I want to get there, but I think it requires wall jumps like crazy. Unless there really isn't much there. Shrugs. I'm not I'm describing the place right anymore.

Yes,
What you need to do is stay to the right as you get the to section after the open area (area without walls). As you enter the last tunnel you need to stay to the right, you should then pass straight through the wall. You'll follow a short tunnel and come out on the ledge your refering to.

The tunnel you see from the ledge is the one you access from the slide. Inside the tunnel is an extra person mushroom. Nothing else. It's really not worth your time to enter it if you've allready got up on the ledge and retrieved the box from there.
If I'm right when you exit the tunnel you land on the ledge your speaking of.

Go down the slide, and as soon as you reach this section of wall agianst the slide (it is while and blue stripish), just press yourself against the wall and you will go straight through it. THis gives you an extra life and makes the races easier. :-)

after you go over that little drop off at the top you start to curve to the right then a wall apears on your right and there should be a line of 5 or 6 coins that leads stright into the opening in the wall.
