No, you cannot get married in the game. You also cannot have an animal as a boyfriend or girlfriend.
There are times when Katrina, the fortune telling cat, will tell you that you will be irresistible to the animals and after she's told you this, when you talk to animals of the opposite sex, they will tell you how much they enjoy your company and how much they like you, but that's about it.

You can't get married to anybody on this game but you can be very close friends.
