It's possible just play long enough and get enough battle points then you will get the balrog

i am really close to getting him. you can get a lot of points when you do helps deep in campiagn mode. if you try to get him in skirmish, just use the nazgils to keep attacking and getting a lot of kills.

go in skirmish and ataak everthing but dont destroy the enmy castle/camp
