Here is the complete list I have: Get secret characters :
Canas : Visit the village in Chapter 16x (17x Hector) Erk : Talk to him with Serra in Chapter 14 Farina : Have her talk to you in Chapter 25 Hector Mode only. She will ask for 20,000 Gold in exchange for her helping you in battle. Fiora : Talk to her with Florina in Chapter 18 (19 Hector) Geitz : Talk to him with Dart in Chapter 23 (24 Hector) if all lords' levels equal 50 or higher. Guy : Talk to him with Matthew in Chapter 13 Harken : Talk to him with Eliwood, Hector, or Isadora in Chapter 25 (27 Hector) if all magic users' level gain is larger than Fighters,Myrmidons,andMercenaries Heath : Talk to him with any of your lords in Chapter 21 (22 Hector) Jaffar : Talk to him with Nino in Chapter 26 (28 Hector.) He won't join until the beginning of Chapter 26x (28x Hector.) Karel : Talk to him with Lyn in Chapter 25 (27 Hector) if Fighters, Myrmidons, and Mercenaries' level gains are bigger than all your magic users Karla : In Chapter 31x, you must have a Warrior Bartre Level 5. Talk to her with Bartre. You must both survive in battle for one turn, then she will join you Legault : Talk to him with any of your lords in Chapter 19 (20 Hector) Lucius : Talk to him with Raven in Chapter 16 (17 Hector) Nino : Talk to her with Lyn or your main lord in Chapter 26 (28 Hector.) Priscilla : Visit the lower-left village in Chapter 14 Rath : Talk to him with Lyn in Chapter 21 (22 Hector) Raven : Talk to him with Priscilla in Chapter 16 (17 Hector) Renault : Visit the village in the northwest corner in Chapter 30 (32 Hector.) Vaida : Talk to her with your main lord in Chapter 27 (29 Hector,) she won't appear if you killed her in Chapter 24 (26 Hector.) Wallace : Talk to him with Lyn in Chapter 23 (24 Hector) if all lords' levels equal 49 or less Merlinus: In Ch.13(13), have a unit visit the village in the top left corner to unlock 13x. Protect Merlinus in 13x and he'll be unlocked

I'll start it off. To get Canas, you need to keep the the Caelin soldiers in the "Noble lady of Caelin" mission alive. To get Karla, you need to get Bart to a Level 5 or higher Warrior before you get to the "battle preparations" mission.

canas-ch.16x-first village you see on left-L/E(story) rath-ch.19(i think.name-kingship bond/protect nills)-talk to him with lyn-L/E heath-same as above-talk to him with hector(H),lyn(L),or eliwood(E)-L/E raven-ch.16-talk with pracilla-L/E lucius-same as above-talk w/raven(GREEN CHARACTOR W/OSTIA SOLDIERS)-E/Lhint:get to 16x by saving 1 green soldier w/Marcus fiora-ch.you get dart(defeat Uhi)-talk w/florina-L/H/E faiora-ch.25-talk to her w/Hector and give her 20,000 gold.by getting her and having florina and fiora,youve unlocked triangle atk,put 2 around a person w/out attacking,then attack with the third on the person being surronded-H nino and jaffar-ch.26-talk to nino w/a lord(H/L/E)then try to talk to jaffar w/ nino(might not work)-L/E guy-ch.13-talk w/matthew-E/H will-ch.3-go to house above-L wallace-ch."Defeat Linus"-talk w/Lyn or Florina-L/E erk and pracilla-ch.w/erik as leader-get pracilla by going to the furthest down village,u get erk by talking to her w/pracilla-H/E legault(im not sure on spelling)-ch.19-talk w/Lyn-L/E (Last One)Karla-ch.30x-battle than talk w/ bartre,evolved,on lv.5 or higher-L/E/H
