I've been doing missions and Trading for ages now and according to the next level requirment i need approx $70,000. But i've got my current worth to well over 120,000. Why won't it level up or let me continue the story???Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You must have bought a new ship before talking to tobias. So you'll have to load from a point previous to landing on leeds, the latest is usually "After meeting Van Pelt". The important thing is when you arrive on leeds go FIRST to tobias. Then you don't have to go to new london, you can buy a ship there too.
