The best way I found is to get on his back and slash him with your Keyblade. To get on his back get behind him and jump onto his leg, then his back, then go up to his head and start swinging. If you fall off, get up there again.

keep slashing cerberus with the keyblade and when he shoots black stuff in the ground stop whatever you are doing and run and when he turns around keep behind his back legs

how to beat him:

restock ur characters with ethers and potions ect.,lock on to one of the outside heads,while attacking and dogeing to the side of the head you can avoid most hits like the biting and fireball atack.
when cerberus starts to spew darkness from his mouth stop what ur doing and run beacuse dark magic will try to hit u from underground!when cerberus is about to crash down jump on the *bleachers* and u can doge it compleatly
and lastly when cerberus walkes with his head high so u cannot hit it go off to the side and hot hom with lightning attacks because its the only magic that cant miss!
