I just bought sonic mega collection for my gamecube, and I thought maybe it is just me but there is this one part in the carnival zone that I just can't get past :P it is so aggrivating...it's the part were they lock you in this one room with a bouncy spinny thing, I jump on it and it goes up and down but i have no clue as to how i am supposed to get under it to get to the next part, can you help me please!? thanks ;)

i had trouble with this myself on the actual one. it is much easier if u have 2 players the second player must jump up and down on the barrel when it gets high enough spin under it.

ok to get past this is pretty hard one way to do this is use the second control(tails) and have him and sonic jump on it then you should be able to have it go low enogh to slip throgh are you can have tails jump on it and sonic can slide under

I found the answer to that out on another Sonic site. It's really quite simple, actually. Just jump onto the cylinder thing. When it moves up, press Up. When it moves down, press Down. Soon you will have built up enough force to get beneath the cylinder.
I have been stuck on that bit for aaaaaaaaaaaaages! I've just read how to get past it so am gonna try it out now! Thanks guys

when you get to this part you must use up and down as it moves, it will eventually go down far enough that you can jump off it. I know because I have the genesis version and have gone through this often.
