Well, okay, I know HOW to beat him, but I havent gotten that accursed shield down yet. I know I'm supposed to take out those statues, but try as I might, they refuse to be taken out. I've beat on 'em until my thumbs are blue, but they won't budge an inch. Do I have to destroy them BEFORE the boss battle? Do I do the trick with a psychic attack (i.e. Jean Grey's mental scream or Psylocke's psychic knife)? Any help would make me extremely happy!

well when u r fighting him find 1 statues that is kinda glowing then u have to break them in order then u ca kill him.

yo beat dark blob you have to destroy the statue that's glowing. after you do that you have about five seconds to damage him. when the shied goes back on, go to the next glowing statue and destroy it. keep doing that til you beat him
