there are 3 items, it sounds like you've found 2 of them.

1 is out in the open. top of the mountain, in the middle, is the main intersection. go all the way east and then into the southeast corner down the hill. there is a dwarf corpse there.

go back to the intersection and go west, go to the NW corner where there's a group of half a dozen yetis at least. in the cave you will find another dwarf corpse.

go back to the intersection and go north. before going up the hill, take a left while staying at ground level. there will be a pack of dogs, and a cave. in the cave you will find the third item and a mortally wounded corpse.
