You go to Dudley's house. It is in his backyard. Then take the fern from his backyard. You go up to it and click on it. It will say take fren and you better take if you to want to get a goal done.

the fern should be at dudley's trailer. you need to visit him and then when you see the fern that moves around select the option that says steal fern, a dialoge box will pop up and he'll say he was just borrowing it, when you get back to the goths house mortimer should say thanks, and your goal will be completed.
