Technically, you CAN kill it by firing at his middle part until it dies, but it is much easier to mix V-JOLT then take it down to the plant's roots in Aqua Ring B1 and kill it from the ground up.

i know how to kill it aim for the head or the tentacles i dunno either with the shotgun it should take 5 to 4 shots with the shotgun
