How do you get the sleeping thorntail to move that's in the corner by the water fall? Where the Warp is.

just save then restart he might awaken by them.

If you already have the Staff and the Fire Blaster Upgrade for the Staff, then look for a large red target to use the Fire Blaster on, then a door should open.
Defeat the Sharpclaw that come out and go inside...I don't want to reveal anything esle that might ruin the storyline. If you need anything else just ask
