Does anyone know what the different villagers and enemies are saying? I'm pretty sure it's spanish they're speaking. Just wondering if anyone knew where to get the translations from.

It could be Spanish, or it could be some obscure Carpathian/Hungarian/Russian dialect. The game only tells us that Ashley has been kidnapped to a small European town, and the creepy guy that attacks you with only the top half of his body swinging from the rafters always makes me think of what I think Rasputin ought to have looked like.
I searched around to see if any of the standard code/FAQ/cheat sites knew anything about the language or where to find translations, but they all only stated that the villagers were speaking 'some other language'....

The monsters are indeed speaking spanish. They say things like "MATELO!" (Kill Him) and "Esta Aqui!" (He's Here). But there are some phrases that I cannot make out and I found this by searching for the spanish translations. I'll keep searching to see if I can find a list of the monster sayings...

It's Spanish and as the guy above says they curse a lot, I,ll give you some of the translations:
Matenlo.- Kill him Ahi esta.- There he is Un forastero.- An outsider Hasta aqui hijo de puta.- Till here son of a b1^@# Que carajo estas haciendo aqui? Largate cabron.- What the f@\$& are you doing here? Get out as\$#0!!
Etc. P.S. Sorry about the curses, but he asked for them The last sentence is the one the villager at the beginning of the game tells you
