actually for sims2 you press 1.ctrl shift c 2. type in moveobjects on (dont forget the space between objects and on) 3.then hit enter then if the cheat box is still up type in "exit"

try this it works on the sims Livin larg: u hold down shift and control and at the same time press c. when a gray box appears at the top of the screen, enter this exactly move_objects on then go to buy mode and you can move and delete virtually anything. i would not advise that you delete your sims or they will never come back.
