I have everything but the red ring, i can't find it anywhere.... it's driving me nuts!!! Also, I can get to the final room in level 9, but I've tried to hit him with every weapon when he pops up, and I haven't figured out anything that works.

The red ring is in level 9, and here's how to get it, from the starting point of the level:
Up 2 screens. Bomb and go left 1 screen Kill the red centipede things and take the secret passage way. (watch out for the Like Likes when you come out). Right 2 screens Down 1 screen Bomb and go right 1 screen Bomb and go up 2 screens (yep, you need to bomb both times) Kill all the critters in this room and take the stairs to the red ring.
And as for Ganon, when you enter the room, they show him to you, once, (he's green) and then he disappears and begins shooting fireballs at you from random locations in the room. You basically need to stab around wildly with your sword until you hit him; you'll know that you've hit him because he'll appear for a second (still green). Do this several times (I believe you have to hit him with your sword 3 times total) and then he will appear brown (instead of green); shoot him once with your silver arrow (also acquired in level 9) and he's dead.
