If you look around the sewers you will find grenades and when you have enough throw them at the rancor

To beat it you have to have a special smelling thing (you get it in a corpse near where you free zallbaar), then go into stealth mode (it will teel you to go into stealh mode you have to go into solo mode, say yes), next you go over to the pile of corpses (in stealth mode) and put a frag grenade in (you act as if you are going to get items but when the menu come up it says "put in" press that button), then put the smelly thing in and walk away (if it goes right into a movie scene its okay), then the rancer will eat the grenade (its atraccted to the smelly thing) and explode.
