How do i land a king salmon? every time i hook one up i fight it for a few minutes and it always gets off the line. i cannot land them

Keep the drag on 4 and when fish pulls to the red . stop reeling. Start reeling on 4 at all the time till the fish will run back to the boat hold the rod up at al times. jointed lure . Good luck took me 20 times to land 3 fish and you can do it 2.

hold your rod tip up the whole time your fighting the fish. start with the drag set on 3 move it to 4 when the tension bar gets near the red drop back to 3 keep switching back and forth.
