I am on the 6th level of the dark world and i don't have the flute yet.I see the animal playing the flute but i cannot capture him.I need to know how to get the flute to get into the 6th world but can't.Please help me get it.

Go to where the Haunted Grove is in the Dark World. You'll see the boy in his Dark World form, sitting on the tree stump. Talk to him, and he'll give you a shovel. Go to the Northwest of the grove and warp to the Light World. Use the shovel to dig up the flute, it's the second flower from the left in the lower row.
If you want, you can talk to the Darkworld boy again for the end of this mini-story. Either way, you'll have to go to Kakariko Village and play the flute in front of the village weathercock. It will explode, revealing the flute bird. From now on you can use the flute to travel.
