When chasing the egg theives in Icy Peaks , there seems to be a jar of gems up on the mountain near the portal. How do you get them???

go backwards on the track and you should see a hole with gems. glide into it and the swirly thing is there. go in the swirly thing and you'll find yourself with more gems. if you want(optional) you can glide on to the platform the red egg thief was on and earn a skill point!

i think you need to use one of those whirly sparkely things, i got them but i don't remember exatly how..........it was along time ago

Yeah, as soon as you get out of the portal to get there, turn around and go along the path there and then when you come to a jump, land slightly below the piece of the other path and thenre you will find a ledge with some gems and then turn left into a small hallway type area and theres the swirly thing!
