This quest reads..."The wilding outcasts broke into the Academy and stole the distilling crystal that the overseer needs to create a cure. What the outcasts want with the crystal is unimportant! I must find them in the Shadowpine and recover what they stole." Ok it says Shadowpine but when i search the WHOLE Shadowpine forest and try looking inside the caves and tombs i find nothing...This is the ONLY quest im having trouble with...Someone please help me lol

unlike most quests in this game, this one does not intially require you to defeat a boss. go to the extreme corner of shodowpine and enlarge your map, you will then see a blue exclaimation point. this brings you to an old woman who pleads with you to find her granddaughter who , of course, has been kidnapped. in return she will give you the crystal you seek. after speaking to her, go into your quest journal, and it tells you directly where to go. you must do it this way or else the quest will not be triggered properly and you could be running around for hours in the right spot without the boss ever spawning.

Before you can find the old woman, I will warn you that she is, of course, at the very end of a road that you would never dream of walking down. My advice to you is to wander the woods systematically. Follow each road to a dead end that each one inevitably leads to in order to find the old woman.
