The Boomerang is in the seashore...You can find a Cave there at the at the right part where you've get you're Sword.. Just use Bomb and Presto! you can see a Old Dog there and talk to him..put oyu're Shovel to the "B" button and trade it to him..
Note: You must Complete 1st the trading part of the game "Yoshi Doll->Dog Food->Banana->Stick->Honey->Pineapple->Hibiscus->Goat's Letter->Broom->Fishing Hook-> Mermaid's Necklace->Mermaid's Scale-> The Secret Mirror" To Get the Boomerang
