In the metal head mash game, u have to use both directional buttons AND shapes. Just pretend that the shapes are the same as the directional buttons.(X=down and triangle=up, ect.)And, each pad operates 1 side of the game.but remember your facing daxter so, even though the shapes are on your right , they control the left side(or daxter's right)of the game that's why it's so hard to control.
