I am completely stuck on this mission and its driving me crazy my controls are all wrong and I only get to like 800 or so. How do you beat this?

you have to use both the d_pad and the actions pad( o , box , etc., anyway... there are four holes on each side the top left symbalizes up, so when a metal head pops up in the top left push up and you'll hit it, as for the messed up controls, i suggest a new controler!
