found a key underwater and go to city of ancients

what part of the game are you referring to? if you mean the part just after cloud returns to the party, your next destination is the city of the ancients. make sure you bring the key! (found underwater)

First find the Key to Ancients by sub and then go to the Forgotten Capital.
