When I try to make holyra my game allows me to make holy, but never to add another life spell to make holyra! Is there some special way to get this to work? The only time I can fuse three spells is when I use three of the same kind (Firaga, Blizzaga, thundaga...)

There are some spells that you can only create with more than one player at a time. Check out this guide:
For the listings of spells that you can create with one player and which ones you need extra people for. Holyra is one of the spells that you need another player to create.
